In 2015, we will be approaching the 17th year in our journey to becoming the most respected indigenous Oil Marketing Company in Ghana. In 2014 I took over as the new CEO of this noble institution and you all have been so great to work with. Our founding father has shared a vision on what an effective Oil Marketing company should look like. It would have to be a combination of best in class technology, first-rate people and a business model that met the clients’ needs. It’s the spirit of working together; whether it’s our clients, our partners, our bankers or our staff that enables us to deal with all the many complexities associated with our industry in a simple way.

There is ample evidence that we are moving forward on the course we set three years ago to transform Allied Oil to Allied by rebranding. I am exceptionally happy to know that through our combined efforts, we have won Life Time Achievement Award and Brand of the year award at this year’s Oil and Gas Award.  We have also been nominated for CIMG award which we hope to win as well.

The New Year will bring its own set of successes and challenges, but our direction is clear and we know what we must do. Our job is to continue to focus attentively on what we can control; providing our customers and clients with the best line of products for their cars and industrial use, managing our costs, improving on our brand, and doing our part to keep our staff happy, customers satisfied and the  economy moving forward.

I appreciate all of your great work this year; it is because of you, and because I am confident we can do so much more for customers and clients, that I have such great confidence in our future. Please enjoy some well deserved rest with family and friends during this holiday season, and let’s get right back to it in 2015. Remember to drive safe this Christmas season. Merry Christmas and happy 2015 in advance.
