Dear Colleagues,
I would like to thank you for your continued commitment and all that you do to make our company what it is today.
This year can be summarized in a few words: In the face of significant challenges, we made significant progress.
Some of the challenges we witnessed are;
- Erratic power supply leading to high cost of our operations.
- Stock losses due to the continued reduction in world crude oil prices.
- A challenging business environment as a result of numerous market participants, implementation of new regulations, intense competition and price wars.
The significant progress made in the year include;
Delivering on our strategy of building new stations at Sakaman, Osu, Takoradi 1 and 2, Westland (Legon) as well as renovation of our Batsonaa Station. We also won 2 significant awards this year which are;
GOGA Brand of the Year 2015
GOGA Marketing Campaign of the year 2015
We also celebrated our 17th anniversary which led to high morale among the rank and file.
For the new year, we hope to continue to deliver state of the art stations, providing our customers and clients with the best service, keeping our workers motivated as well as maximizing efficiencies whilst reducing costs.
